Pastor Teddy Van Vale
Founder & Pastor, Christian Lord Ministries Inc.
Born in Wewoka, Oklahoma and raised in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Teddy Van Vale carries the traditions and stories of his Oklahoma upbringing — a personal heritage of community, resilience, and deep faith that quietly shaped everything that followed.
He served as a United States Marine during the Vietnam era, a season that forged in him an unshakeable commitment to sacrifice, discipline, and standing for those who cannot stand for themselves.
A gifted musician, Teddy traveled the world performing alongside legends including B.B. King and The Staple Singers — a journey that convinced him of music's singular power to heal wounds that words cannot reach.
In 1984, Pastor Van Vale answered the call to ministry — a turning point that redirected his life entirely toward serving those in need, bringing together his love of music, his faith, and his lifelong instinct to show up for others.
In 2002, he founded both Christian Lord Ministries Inc. and CLM Outreach 501(c)(3) in Topeka, Kansas — building a ministry dedicated to worship, community service, workforce development, and the enduring belief that no one is beyond hope.
